is AMAT a growth stock or a value stock?

I view Amat as an attractive trading vehicle favored by current traders(hedges, MMs..retail non pro-traders...retail pro-traders...)

The traders need volatility....Sox has volatility. It's popular but dangerous!

AMAT is usually priced as a growth stock, though its volatility ensures that it attracts value players near cyclical troughs. Valuation now is certainly based on expected future earnings growth so it's a growth stock, although there are plenty of low portfolio turnover value players on board for LT.
