I don't think that is her problem. It's the perception that she ran Lucent into the ground before she parachuted to HP. Leaving a trail of severely wounded multi-billion dollar companies behind you, perception warranted or not, hurts.

I am not sure who's perception that is........true she came from LU but my understanding is that the division she headed was doing very well when she left. I also understand she helped LU spin off from ATT which most considered a good thing. I don't particular like her style but I don't think HWP would have hired her as president if she was a loser.

Of course, this is all stuff I have read in the newspapers and the like. You may have insider info that I don't.
