In the year 2000, more blacks than at any time in American history were considered middle-class, yet Gore received more than 90 percent of the black vote. So just the opposite is occurring. As more blacks move into middle class, more are voting Democratic. Re: "The only way Dems can maintain the black vote in such a lopsided proportion is to somehow hold blacks back from attaining middle class." What a dumb-ass statement. Explain to me how this could possibly be accomplished. Provide specifics.
