Tony, Microsoft planted people on the Internet to trash OS/2, and, obviously, tout Windows? It was before Internet was a real force. It was mainly Compuserve and Prodigy. Usenet was used that many people yet, and obviously, there were no Hardware sites with their BBSs accessible throughout the world. I said Intel would be stupid, make it very stupid, to plant people to trash and tout. Can you imagine the cacophony if it came to light? I see your point. It is a risk, and I don't think Intel is desperate enough to take the risk. On the other hand, what are the chances of anyone finding out and conclusively proving it? Close to zero. Only court could compel people to testify. There would be a risk of a disgruntled employee, but that can be denied. That's why I said that I don't feel confident 100% one way or another. Joe
