INFLUENCE PEDDLING

The Shrub was in position to shake down the foreign minister of Argentina in 1989, calling from the White House on behalf of Enron to purchase a newly privatizing gas transmission network for about 10% of the offer of a Spanish conglomerate. Enron won the deal, Argentina got more IMF "compassion". If that isn't influence peddling, I'd like to know what is.
