Do you mean wording the paragraph in a way that might have lent itself to misinterpretation as a negative blanket characterization of males? Yes. Someone as brilliant as we agree she is should not have left such an obvious possibility hanging out there... Did you read it that way, or did you understand that the paragraph in fact did acknowledge that there were bad guys and good guys? I read it both ways, as you did, although I expect the "error" may have been a bit more deliberate than you'd care to admit.
