And finally, when they were finally released and deported back to Israel, they were not interviewed by the public news media (so far as I know) and just quietly "disappeared" back to whatever their previous lives were.

Given the politics in play, Hawk, it seems likely to me that the Israeli government would have told them to keep their mouths shut even if they were not spies and were guilty of no more than violating their tourist visas. So I don't see it as strong evidence of a spy ring.

Maybe the Israelis living in Florida were visiting their grandparents. Lots of Jewish communities in South Florida.

Members of Israeli military intelligence "..."dancing" and shouting, while filming..."? IMHO, they weren't and/or they wouldn't. Strangeish idea.
