Tony,

I just spent 1/2 hr. reading through a thread in this group attacking wbmw, making unwarranted accusations, insinuations, by the same small cadre that went after tench.

IMO, this thread is populated by some very scary folks (not all, but some). At least on the Intel thread, folks are very up front with you, regardless of their position. I'm retired and don't give a sh!t about this cadre, but if I was employed (employed ANYWHERE, not just Intel), I would be very wary of what they are capable of trying to someone. Very psychopathological.

Tony,

Moderated = not free, or as free.

Yahoo is free, and it is not necessarily good. I think there needs to be some balance.

re: Moderated = not free

true, but don't they say that freedom of one ends when the freedom of another begins, or something of than matter.

re: However, one feels here like they are being "watched"

I believe that anything that can be sad during normal face to face discussion should be allowed and that might include some rough language (SI forbids it). The problem is that internet gives folks ability to act outside of boundaries which may be considered as normal without any responsibility.

I personally would like to see all opposing views (that why I visit Intel thread) but I can live happily without personal attacks
