Quinn and his lawsuits against TK et al

So far this Quinn guy has started a lot of lawsuits but he hasn't won any. I don't really know if he can win these lawsuits. I think the truly guilty parties in these transactions are the public companies themselves who agree to the toxic funding. If they didn't know what would happen to the share price, then they were negligent. If they did know what would happen (as I believe), then they are responsible.

I also don't know if they can prove who manipulated and shorted what as most of the transactions were done offshore where they do not recognize US securities regulations. Since then they have even changed holding companies and countries so maybe the offshore entity has no records even.

If Quinn were to ever win, I'm sure all the holding companies will just fold. They made one LLC for each transaction so why not. More TK research here mary.cc

Also note, I don't think anyone has won one of these toxic funding cases yet but a lot of companies have settled, in favor of the lender; case in point, MBPT. They settled with TK, publicly admitted guilt and stated that TK did no wrong, then they turned over the rest of the shares.

It will be interesting to see how these cases turn out.

Re: 3/6/02 - [MDMN] Medinah Minerals, Inc. Legal Update

Medinah Minerals, Inc.

Legal Update

The lawsuits filed in the United States District Court of Nevada against numerous individuals, accusing them of actions that constitute intentional or negligent interference with prospective economic advantages to be realized by the plaintiffs Medinah in their business operations, and seeking injunctive relief and damages, are proceeding toward depositions and trial dates. Default judgments have been obtained against several defendants and will be executed in due course.

As an augment to the Nevada cases, Medinah Minerals, Inc. has contracted with the firm of IT/IS, Inc. of Houston, Texas to provide litigation support service. IT/IS develops, controls and processes documentation for the suspected stock manipulation cases on behalf of Medinah Minerals and its shareholders.

Upon completion of the IT/IS reports, they will be submitted to the Houston law firm of John M. O’Quinn and Associates, who will decide the next course of action.

All major fees involved are on a contingency basis with the legal representatives.

On June 26, 2000, by consent of all parties, the scheduled trial of Medinah Minerals, Inc. vs. Dayton Mining Corp. was adjourned pending a settlement offer from Dayton. As the settlement terms were not fulfilled by Dayton, Medinah has instructed its Counsel to proceed to trial.

Medinah's statement said:

So they're going to mail something to O'Quinn, who may or may not take the case. If there's not a deep pocket to go after, I doubt he'll take it.

Considering MDMN's history of unfulfilled promises, the most recent of which was a 1/31 claim that $5 mill would be in hand by February 22, your celebration is premature and unjustifed.
