I always read between the lines. I always hear between the words. However, that has nothing to do with needing reconciliation. It just means that people say much more than they intended to say. Everyone does. The problem comes in trying to reflect back to them a part of the message that wasn't intended. It's not always fair because it wasn't the dominant theme. But being unfair doesn't make it untrue, except in the broadest sense. I mean, the minor themes are really there, but one should also acknowledge the dominant theme, too. But you knew that.:)
