We went to see MOthman Prophecies last night. I enjoyed it. Dan thought it was illogical.
Ammo was being very LA. He had seen it at Universal City, and on the night they went, the first show was sold out. They decided to wait for the next one and as they waited around, they noticed a big guy standing in front of the Sold Out sign, posing and pointing to it while his wife took a picture. It was the director, Mark Pellington. He couldn't get in either. But he was so thrilled that it was sold out, he wanted his picture taken with the sign. He talked to them and told them not to go see some other movie- to wait for his.
They weren't sure if it really was the director or just some LA nut, but darned if when they got in to the next show, there on the screen in a cameo as the bartender, was Mark Pellington-- and it WAS the same man.

So all through the show last night, Ammo is saying things like, "My good buddy, Mark, did a nice job with the ambiance here..."

We did the tourist things this weekend and it was SOOOOO much fun!! We went to Grauman's CHinese, and Santa Monica Pier, and drove through UCLA, which I'd never seen. We made Ammo lie down in the back seat though because he was wearing his FUCLA t-shirt.
