Ireland GDP: purchasing power parity - $81.9 billion (2000 est.)

Compare that to

South Korea: GDP: purchasing power parity - $764.6 billion (2000 est.)

Singapore: GDP: purchasing power parity - $109.8 billion (2000 est.)

Malaysia: GDP: purchasing power parity - $223.7 billion (2000 est.)

Indonesia: GDP: purchasing power parity - $654 billion (2000 est.)

Thailand: GDP: purchasing power parity - $413 billion (2000 est.)

All in, the Asian Tigers total $2.165 Trillion, making Ireland's contribution to the world's GDP basically a rounding error. As the accountants are prone to say, the number lacks materiality. <smile>
