I don't question that underage people need to be protected by law from even benign sexual experiences because they aren't mature enough to decide for themselves and, on average, those experiences are not positive for the child. I'm only saying that they don't all have bad outcomes. I also wonder if we shouldn't drop the age of consent a year or two.
