But you don't have to believe the response. One situation - in a courtroom, listening to cross-examination.

Another situation, confronting a child who is in the same room as a baseball bat and a broken vase.

Another situation, listening to a CEO talking about pro forma earnings.

Another situation, listening to the Iraqi diplomat talk about Iraq's weapons situation.

Another situation, listening to a used car salesman.

The technique of communicating and understanding communication is very complex. I think I learn new things every day, maybe forget some, too.
