If Bob Brinker can make money personally from being a principal in a wrap account firm, why shouldn't he? Is he supposed to be a saint who doesn't want to make money for himself? I have no problem with anyone making money this way. I do have a problem in that he makes fun of sharks but is, in his way, one himself. I also have a problem that he doesn't make this association clear as other talk show hosts and newsletter writers do. I also have a problem with his making money off subscriptions while hiding the actual record of his newsletter. If he was honest about what he does well and what he does badly, no one would have a problem with him. As they say, it's not the act, it's the cover up. Finally, I really appreciate those who have helped get me through the 12 step Brinker recovery program. I want to help others so they look really hard at future cyclical bull/secular bear buy/sell market timing advise that comes down the road.
