JSL,
on MKSI I don't like the high Price/Sales Ratio. If an upgrade is coming, nice. I will swap it with VECO. But for the time being I'm still holding... In europe I also hold a position in another competitor to VECO/MKSI called Oxford Instruments, Ticker: OXIG.L (.L means traded in London / UK). Partially they are also a competitor to IMGC (superconducting magnets), partially they are into biotech equipment.. OXIG is being traded at Price/Sales of 0.30-0.40 - like a retailer, not a hightech firm, around 210p now. It turned profitable last year: www.oxford-instruments.com Enter OXIG.L in Yahoo US ticker and you get a quotation. Maybe it'S even traded on the Pinksheets: www.pinksheets.com or .org

TRKN.. ran away from me. Still following but too pricey IMHO.. I'm also eyeing SMTL and also GGNS. But for now I like Japan Stocks better, something like Shibaura Mechatronics (CVD Equip, Wirebonders, CMP, Automation etc.), around 400 Yen..
