KDDI added 162,500 CDMA subs (not very good)....Docomo added 12,500 W-CDMA subs (absolutely terrible).

It looks like new sub growth may have slowed permenanetly in Japan. It might just be a fight for marketshare now.

FWIW....both J-Phone and Docomo have indicated that they are going to start lowering subsidies. If KDDI wants to be aggressive they could start winning back subs by heavily subsidizing 1x.
