Do you know what were their pension income assumptions? 09:27 ET SBC Comms to boost earnings by changing pension income assumptions-- WSJ (SBC) 39.03: The Wall Street Journal reports that SBC is likely to add $0.08 to EPS this year by raising the expected return on its pension investments by 1% and slightly altering its inflation assumptions; even as the co's pension fund investments fell along with the rest of the mkt last year, SBC increased its assumptions about how much its pension-fund investments would earn, which boosted earnings last year and is expected to do so again in 2002.
