Good for you on that trade mindmeld. I am an "investor" not a "trader". I do not pretend to have what it takes to get in and out of a stock and make money doing that over a long period of time. My investment strategy has paid off relative to what I started with. I freely admit that I have lost a lot of paper profits ($82 to $16) in Cisco, and that hurts, but I am still well ahead.

My Cisco average cost is $6.75, which is a lot higher than most long term investors, but still low enough to make me feel comfortable. I have some in a retirement plan that is between $7 and $8, but that's ok too.

I believe that Cisco at these levels still represents a good value for me as an "investor", so I am holding like you. I anticipate a double from here within a few years, if not sooner. I will not hold out for $82, it's previous high. Unless something changes in a major way, we will not see that again.

Good luck to you and other Cisco longs!

Jeff
