We are being racist when we say Italians control organized crime. We are racist when we say Black people are criminals because jails have an inordinate amount of blacks. Not every german was a nazi, so yes, you are racist when you say all germans are nazis when clearly they all were not. Hitler had thousands of people killed who openly opposed him, they were German. In the early 20s in Berlin there was a group that put posters every where warning people of Hitler's evil plans, those were put there by other Germans. And I said earlier, German's were not alone in hating Jews. The world was not sympathetic to the plight of jews in Germany during the 30s leading up to the war. Many who escaped that country were forcibly sent back because few countries were willing to offer asylum. You could say the world was racist.
