"Seeking God, does not cause war."

It does if your God is Satan or the "almighty" dollar!

Whose God??......that's the crux of the matter.

One's own.

Religion was simply the result of privitive man's search for a semblance of security in a terrifying world

Not really, it largley springs from man's recognition of invisible forces affecting their lives. Forces that were larger than themselves and beyond their control. That's why things like the sun, moon and rain took on deity qualities.

Again, greedy, evil people, who "claim" religion cause war. Religion does not.

We can meditate on the beauty of nature....children's contagious joy of life....the simplicity of a flower.

Interesting that you should mention God's creations for tranquility and meditation.....

except when the abortionists are killing them....that's sort of hard to make into a tranquil scene, huh?

and that "contagious" joy of life from children of which you speak???? I guess the preborn kids kicking around in mom don't count huh?

"it's not necessary to meditate on a mystical deity though in order to get the positive results."

Have you ever read Friedrich Nietzsche? He is probably your kind of guy.
