I certainly don't need any lectures about free speech or rudeness from you!

About rudeness, you're correct. You know all you need to know about being rude.

About free speech, you actually do need lectures on what it truly is. But one sign of a closed mind is that it's closed, and in your case I'm not the right person to open it for you.

So I'll just leave you, as I go off to to work, with a recommendation. Read Nat Hentoff's wonderful book "Free Speech for Me but Not for Thee." If you read it with an open mind, you will learn a great deal from it.

And you will realize that sometimes it is those who most trumpet their belief in free speech who are quickest to censor speech they don't approve of.

And that shoe fits you like a glove.
