Have you noticed the sprouting up of steakhouses in the last few years....thanks to Lipitor and the like....Americans can have their steak and eat it too.

What's the difference between subsidizing the welfare/medicare bums and paying for a career criminal to live out his days in the relative comfort of one of our jails? Stupid choices translate to taxpayer expense all the time. I look at those (and other objectionable use of my taxes) as one of the downsides of living in the best country on earth. You've got choices. Petition the legislature, sue for redress, run for political office, move to Bermuda, or volunteer your time to raise the conciousness of the American people by throwing big wads of fat at the feet of patrons of your local McDonalds. Moral coercion is only a state of mind.
