WLC - Ever thought that the average consume might sdtart buying US or $ denominated goods?

The $ is fixed to a number of currencies.

Oil is priced in $ except for that of Iraq who prices it in Euros to please his crawling friends in Europe.

What is the boostt hat US exporters get for every 1% drop in the $.

Best,

L

That means to the average consumer a sinking dollar is BAD BAD BAD.

Interestingly enough, I believed this until I examined my own spending. 85% of my expenses stay right in this country. Think about it, what are your biggest expenses and where do they go?

For most people its, taxes, mortgage interest, insurance, housing, food, utilities followed by auto, household, clothing, education and travel. The first six stay pretty much in this country and for me they represent 85% of my non-discretionary expenses.
