If you have a minute, just for fun go to the yahoo NDX chart and pull up historical prices for 6/15/01-7/15/01. Then open another window and pull up the vix chart and pull historical readings for the same time period.

Check out the NDX vs. vix especially between late June and early July and compare to the NDX vs. vix lately.

I thought it was kind of interesting.
