Excellent point. I was thinking close to the same thing. Intel has to do much more than simply offer a competitive solution. They need to offer a different solution - one that separates their product not just competitively, but also against their older product lines. Give people a reason to upgrade, in other words. I'd love to have a 3-4lbs laptop with seamless wireless networking and all day battery life. I think that's where Intel is going, and after looking at their IDF webcasts, it should be very exciting a couple of years down the road.
