Some say WLAN is a constructive, not disrupting, part of 3 and 4G.

That is probably why Nokia systematically works on and with both, kind of
connecting them, when so is practical, realistic (and not just disruptive)

That MSFT-strategy seem to be and have become more or less outdated, these days.

(great american quack, that definition of "disruptive technologies", just waiting for
some similar quacks on "constructive technologies")

Rob- You need to think about the big picture and how and where 802.11 will become available. 802.11 will be included on moblie phone/modem chips as "another way to connect". As for education, you might consider looking into getting one, with, as you say, "my big gains in Intersil."
