How is it inaccurate? If you don't post about her or her posts via a third party, and keep your distance, and she does the same, the standard toorabout on SI will be in place and all will be well.

If there's a lively discussion with a bunch of people posting on a subject, you can post to someone not alluding to Poet's views or statements, but sticking to theirs and your own. The point is to keep out of each other's mental space.

It works fine.

There are so many discussions on SI and so little time it's not as though you would be hard pressed to find fun arguments to engage in.

If you put Poet on ignore, and then don't post in response to posts to her, that ought to take care of it, it occurs to me.
