Looking like the only differences this jury would have is what to do with this woman after she is convicted. Message #7360 from bob at Mar 7, 2002 5:39 PM Thread: You are invited to sit on a jury. Today's case is described below. Please cut and paste your choice for what Chante Mallard should be charged with, and what you think an appropriate sentence should be. Please bear in mind that this occurred in Texas, which has its own standards for both behavior and punishment. Juror votes: 1. OMD: Murder (punishment: Chante should lose her job as a nurse's aide and be required to enter a drug rehab program. And maybe the death penalty too.) 2. Shootie: Although I have no problem with killing those who need killing, life in solitary would be my choice in this crime. 3. Mrs. Peel: Murder (Punishment: Life imprisonment) 4. JXM: Second Degree Murder. Life. 5. arno: Murder. Life 6. Gloop: Death penalty without question. She watched him die in her F*cking garage for christ sakes! At first it wasn't murder 1........it became so as she watched him die over a period of days. Maybe when they run electricity through her it should be just enough to kill her - IN 3 days! 7. bob: Death penalty...No doubt in my mind. 8. I hoped and prayed that this was an urban legend. Alas it is not. Gloop is being too kind and I am afraid to say what I would really like to do with this bitch. Murder 1 (once she parked this poor SOB in the garage and visited him watching him die the accident was gone)and death by some extremely painful, slow, method. 9. Neenny: I have to edit what I would really like to put here, as my daughter is reading over my shoulder. Let's just say that I don't think that Gloop and Jeff are too far off. As I read this story, I just cannot even imagine what could have been going through this woman's head. First I wondered if she knew this guy and let him die out of some type of revenge/spite for him harming her in some way. That doesn't look to be the situation. dfw.com Posted on Thu, Mar. 07, 2002 Bizarre details of man's death revealed Hit-and-run victim lived for two days while trapped in windshield By DEANNA BOYD Star-Telegram Staff Writer
