Because of the history, which we've talked about rather a lot, your engaging her feels horrible and upsetting to Poet. In light of that human fact, would you consider diminishing the robustness and openness of merely one tiny aspect of your SI argumentation, and that's argumentation around Poet's conversation? It works fine for everybody else, and as i've pointed out, there are dozens of conversations going on on SI, and you can engage in them as openly and robustly as you want for as many hours a day as you can keep awake. Couldn't you consider not engaging with Poet, given that it causes her distress? If you put her on Ignore, you'll hardly be aware of the lessening of robustness, I think..
