I havent checked pre-market yet but most of the so-called experts think the intel news was bullish. Joe Osha at Merrill(i believe) said intel at 30X next year earnings would warrant a price of $45 and i guess this trickles thru the rest of the chips. Greenspan words were carefully spoken as well and more bullish. Perhaps now it only is a question of how wide the bottom of the U is and the angle up of the right side of the U at some point. And as i said in an earlier post, those folks waiting for the last cycle lows and particularly those who are short long term in chips have their collective heads in the sand much as i did in the spring of 2000. mike

PS For the thread How about we insist on AD opening a short term trading fund for amat threaders?
