Watching the pundits declare on the infomercial channel that there never was a recession, that the bear market is finally over, that the economy was headed for certain recovery, that it was time to buy, etc., was enough to sour anyone on the market, because it was nothing more than a big shakedown, in my opinion. The cynical ones are the ones pitching the overpriced junk day after day, not the ones who are fed up with the whole show.
