Dear Z:

P4 is not a good performer compared to AXP. Intel only has a few dozen programs that are highly optimized for P4 and are not for AXP. They must restrict the benches to these programs to come out ahead. When the circle is widened, P4 starts to lose. When widened further to most currently used apps and games, P4 loses big time to AXP.
