Gold is barely a few percent above where it was last year and the year before... This is not a bull market. Not yet. All gold stocks will come back to earth if gold does not move above $300 to stay in the coming few months. And this move in stocks will be consider as another bear market rally.

A true bull market in precious metals will be confirmed only when gold is above its mid'90s high. It will start to look like the real thing when gold is above $350. Until then we are in a trading range for the metals whith the stocks showing their traditional leverage and exuberance when there is a hint "just a hint" that gold might start the next big bull.

But we could still be many months if not a year or two away of this long awaited event.
