I've also noticed people tend to speak very distinctly to obviously blind people. Peculiar.

Right now I'm watching one of my cats walk around with a conical collar on, bumping into everything. It would be OK it she were getting better but it's cancer, and recurring, so her days are numbered. Can't bring myself to "mug" the poor little girl with an operation every 2-3 months. Not good quality of life.
