Well, actually, I've no second thoughts about the WTC attacks.... I don't think the whole population of NYC got manipulated by "holograms" and other Hollywood gimmickry. The crucial thing about other terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001 is whether or not they involved SUICIDE operatives. Driving a truck full of Semtex up to the Pentagon, blowing up a car bomb near the State Dept, etc. are all operations that don't call for the terrorists to kill themselves in the process --just ask T. McVeigh... And that would be a BIG discrepancy in the Bin Laden theory --and a major point to support my pet theory which posits regular hijackings, etc. Gus

Come to think of it, the convenient thing in wrapping up the whole 911 boodle as a "suicide-only" scheme is that it spares the FBI the trouble of running after the culprits --since they're all supposed to be dead.... That way, law enforcement agencies don't have to explain to US public opinion why they've failed to arrest the terrorists, it also allows them to circumvent the publicity and media coverage of the ongoing investigations... I mean, just imagine the embarrassment if the FBI proudly claimed the arrest of a coupla Arab terrorists... who then would spill the beans on their Russian/Israeli/French case officers and whatnot! The official premise that all of 911 was a purely "suicide" thing allows the administration to sort it out covertly. Gus
