In 99 the split on imports was approx. 25% each from Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

I don't think they are number 3, but I believe that they are in the top 10. Maybe 5% of total oil imports? I think the DOE has the data on on of their webpages.

Currently we are importing 780,000 Bpd.

On September 1, 2001 the rate was ~1.2 MM Bpd.
