Excellent post. I have no use for those who make decisions in secret for the so-called "common good." Open meetings statutes are under assault across the nation. Even as I speak, in the commonwealth of Kentucky, there is a bill in the Republican-controlled Senate to dramatically increase the reasons that governmental bodies can go behind closed doors. More often than not, these reasons have dollar signs hidden somewhere.
