Like all complex technologies, 3G's going to take time. It is a reality in Japan and Korea. The Q is receiving royalties already, though they are naturally small.

My stake in Q is premised on the flood of essentially 100% profit royalties it will receive on 3G when 3G is a worldwide reality. It's also premised on its leadership in all kinds of wireless ASICs. A double barrelled combination.

My time frame is a long one. I can wait.

Patience is a virtue.

3G CDMA saves the world. Raymond, you should perhaps inform yourself before assuming that muskets, AK47s, Tomahawks and Predators won't take over from spears: 3gtoday.com

<How many 3G phones do you see in use? How many were supposed to be in use by now, in order to justify the stock mania? I rest my case. <smile>>

Yes, there was a couple of years delay. But the future doesn't stop arriving because it got stuck in a time warp for a couple of years.

Meanwhile, the Dow now is not significantly down from this time a year ago, despite the "great financial collapse of 2001". So, just when are the Aztecs going to have their day in the sun again? They are going to get nervous and bored, waiting at the top of the mountain for the second coming, clutching their little gold crosses and baying at the sky.
