No... no ethics awards for these guys. Sometimes I think they have their own agendas which force them to sugar coat what they really think and sometimes I think they just don't do their jobs.

Lots of vague words in their calls... "could" miss earnings, "possibly" seeing a bottom, "may" have competition from this or that.

I look at their calls as short term noise, but it really bugs me that they're wrong so much. I've gotten pretty frazzled over the last couple years, losing my nerve sometimes to view the longer term. I shouldn't have done that. No one really knows the short term in the economy. What difference does it make to the longer term if a company had to move some revenues out to next quarter because a major deal was closed a day late? I bet that customers try to get price concessions delaying a deal closure around end of quarter time (like trying to buy a car at the end of the month).
