My observations are based on comments from the retail industry, which indicated high computer sales during the quarter in question.

As far as stuffing is concerned, the inventory, if it sits anywhere, is at the retail outlets preventing CPQ from shipping more.
If that's the case, we will see their inventory backlog grow next quarter, but that kind of momentum has not been indicated by anyone.

That is what I'm saying.

Hopefully CPQ's quarter is on target but:

CPQ should have a very good idea of what their Q1 results will be by the time of the vote on 3/20.
If the deal gets a thumbs up but CPQ's Q1 is falling short, will they warn? Should they warn?
I read that in the event the merger is approved, the two companies could be operating as one as early as 4/1.
What would be the ethical obligation to shareholders?
Could they sidestep a warning, because of the merger, and get away with it?
Does it matter?
