Mike, Thanks for your comments. Certainly the combination of my significant long term AMAT holdings and past industry experience were major reasons I chose to actively trade the stock. I've closely followed Applied and the sector for so long I can't imagine not participating in the action at some level. I believe investing and trading in companies and areas one understands provides an advantage. While I no longer have the AMAT shares available to easily sell and buy back anymore, I continue to have a decent account balance allocated for future trading fun. In addition, I occasionally keep a few individual stocks in my retirement and trust accounts. The semi-equip sector issues will always be an area I will focus on and invest in. I still plan to be around, just not as active day to day.
