dale - re: "The way I figure it, AMD will delay Sledgehammer until the 90nm node. "

MAD has already delayed the SludgePumper at least 18 months - to "align it" with the 0.13 micron SOI process.

If what you say happens, MAD will have delayed the SludgePumpeer for about 30 months !!!

In the meantime, the lowly ClamHamster will be nuttin' but a 1-way desktop CPU - that will do nuttin' but cannabalize AthWiper sales - and reduce profits - because of the even LOWER yields and HIGHER COSTS of MAD's 0.134 micron SOI process.

Looks like more losses ahead for Fatwah Sanders the Turd and his band of followers.

The way I figure it, AMD will delay Sledgehammer until the 90nm node. Then, because they are counting on getting to the 90nm node using 248nm laser lithography tools, their process tech changeover will be delayed from Summer 2003 until Q2 2004.

90nm with 248nm Steppers......?

Good Luck.
