T4, one of the parallels I've noticed between our movies and theirs is that their movies rarely have happy endings. They'll take a nice little heart warming story and finish it off with a complete unfitting brutal ending - and they'll role the credits like as if it’s completely natural that life is a total bitch.

Anyway… That what I'm seeing played out in their journalism.

After 11 years in UK, tend to agree. They get a kick out of reporting news that casts the US as less then perfect. It is a love/hate relationship.
