Whatever flaws scientists have, they pale beside those of government. Maybe we could turn the problem over to the Senate Judicial Committee for hearings - that way we would be assured of a completely objective treatment of the subject.

BTW, when I use the term scientist, I am not referring to someone educated in the sciences who is active in promoting a point of view. I am referring to people who use the scientific method to investigate and report their findings for peer review.

I don't object to study of climate change and its possible effects. I do object to the hysteria that's been whipped up on this subject.

Yes. This has been a political football long enough. Some of the promoters of global warming have even admitted they are pushing the theory for political reasons.

Like "wealth equalization" AKA "We don't look so bad if we make the rich countries poorer."

And the Kyoto Treaty is a bad joke. I figure we go to war before we accept that.

Let's get the science right, then call in the politicos- -if necessary.
