So, how many detainees do you have in Cuba now? or indeed Afghanistan?
I gotta teach you geography too? They're not in the USA. Simple. :-)

Your choice - are you a fool, a liar or a blatant hypocrite?
Meanwhile, you RWET asswipes

AH! Now this is starting to sound like Ye Olde Boxing Ring!

I don't believe they deserve better, myself.
Then what was your whine about? We're in agreement.

What when your son, or daughter, or grandchild is seized and held incommunicado for being in the wrong place?
We've already been through that. Iran.

You guys subjugated half the planet ("The sun never sets on the British Empire") at gunpoint and you have a problem with US?
We even let you take Las Malvinas back without invoking the Monroe Doctrine (which says WE own this hemisphere).

How many times do you think you would have starved to death had it not been for the Marshall Plan?

The alternative to detaining them would have been just killing them all. You can't exactly hold a trial for each one and let them free on bail until the trial date. There is no violation of the rule of law involved because no law is being violated in this situation.
