Bearing in mind that we've got 50M people crammed into an area about 1/3 of California, we have a surprising number of back gardens - but they're mostly probably way smaller than most such in the US, there just isn't the space. Actually that's plenty of space. Looking at the CIA factbook on the UK and doing some quick math I see that there is over 4000 square meters of land area in the UK for each resident. Maybe your 4000 sq meters can be here boealps.org <g> Tim
