What do you think of BOOM?

It looks like a few of the backers are ok (ANZ & OCBC).

No minimum!

If I read it correct, the trading fee on Shanghi-B shares is either 0.45% or$25USD whichever is higher. Is that what you see?

Have you done business with them?

I like the fact that you can trade in worldwide markets without a lot of hassle. Something missing with most US brokers.

Jay, try this outfit - seglobal.com ... looks a lot better done than that boom.com, on first glance at the latter anyway ... SE Global is available in HK through Hani Securities - haninet.com .. click 'US Securities' on the left there

Here's a flyer that Hani sent out to clients recently - seglobal.com

One of their sites - ga-securities.com ... they've been in business longer than boom.com looks like, they have a US arm as well, mostly in California so far i think and growing rapidly ... direct access efficiently at a reasonable price over low bandwidth connections, that's their biggest pull but they also have alliance brokers in thirty [?] countries

By way of disclosure - my largest of all share positions is in the company parent to SEG, cpt.v [yes the azteca hold non-gold stocks sometimes Mq, just good ones-g-] ... some links on the whole story - #reply-15701827 ... it just had a financing and volume spike, IR says a conference call maybe this wednesday, i think something's about to happen ... whether with SEG or the schools in Beijing, don't know
