My USD bonds are mostly 1-3 year staggered treasury strips, always some maturing once per quarter and then rolled out another 36 months. My GX/NTL adventures had been written down to zero, so no point selling. The Asian 'high yields' were purchased during the Asian financial crisis, perfectly respectable now given the 0.05% yield on USD fixed deposit at the bank, and besides, they were mostly purchased when we in Asia were being opague, leveraged, sham lying, not accounting, and nepotistic cronies. You know the type:0)
