Jorj, IMO BPNDX is too volatile to be useful in determining multi-week trend changes and perhaps even for multi-day cycle calls. BPCOMP seems to be a better tool for multi-week trend change calls. BTW it's really a classic forecasting dilemma. Does one prefer a sensitive and volatile instrument (like say 13ema) or one less sensitive and less volatile (like say 50ema)? The more sensitive one produces more whipsaws and the less sensitive one results in a time lag.
